Introduction

The biophotonics laboratory, led by Professor Jigang Wu, focuses on developping novel optical biomedical imaging methods and seeking applications in biomedical research and clinical diagnosis. Current research activities includes lensless in-line holographic microscope (LIHM) and optical coherence tomography (OCT). We are aiming to overcome some limitations of traditional microscopy and imaging techniques, including cost, field-of-view, resolution, and sensitivity. We are also actively collaborating with other labs at the UM-SJTU Joint Institute and we co-established the Center of Optics and Optoelectronics (COO).

Open Positions

We are seeking highly motivated graduate students and postdoctoral scholars to join the group. Background and exprience in optics, optoelectronics, physics, and instrument design are desired. Please send your CV and a statement of your research interests to Professor Wu at jigang.wu@sjtu.edu.cn.
